A few weeks ago, I fell asleep on the subway after a long day of work. When I woke up, someone had taken everything. My backpack. My notebook with all my backups and client files. My clothes. Even my documents.

I had no money, no phone, no ID. I ended up at Arsenal da Esperança – the largest homeless shelter in Latin America. I stayed there for weeks.

Today, I'm sleeping on a friend's couch. A friend gave me a cheap used phone. That's all I have.
